Creatures Studio offers warranty coverage on eligible products as provided by the respective brand/manufacturer. Customers may claim repair or other applicable warranty service for products that develop manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period.

The warranty period, coverage, and specific terms may vary by product and brand. Please refer to the warranty information provided on the respective product page or warranty documentation.

What’s Covered?

• Repair of the product during the applicable warranty period, subject to inspection, verification, and confirmation of a manufacturing defect by the Creatures Studio team in consultation with the manufacturer/merchant.
• Warranty service will generally be provided at the original shipping/delivery address provided at the time of purchase.
• Warranty service will be applicable only where the product has not been altered, modified, repaired, or structurally changed after purchase.
• Where applicable, replacement of defective components may be offered instead of complete product replacement.

What’s Not Covered?

Warranty exclusions may vary depending on the brand, product, material, and warranty terms specified for the individual product.

Natural Characteristics of Wood

For solid wood and natural wood products, the following are considered natural characteristics and are not manufacturing defects:

• Natural variations in wood grain
• Differences in colour and texture
• Knots and natural patterns
• Joint lines
• Seasonal movement or minor splits
• Other natural characteristics of solid wood

Normal Wear & Tear

Warranty does not cover normal deterioration resulting from regular use, including:

• General wear and tear
• Minor scratches or surface marks
• Gradual deterioration of finishes
• Cushion or foam compression caused by regular use
• Minor damage resulting from improper cleaning or handling

Improper Installation or Handling

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by:

• Improper installation or assembly
• Installation by an unauthorised third party
• Improper handling
• Dismantling or reassembly
• Modification or alteration of the product
• Use contrary to the product’s instructions or user manual

Upholstery

Warranty generally does not cover normal changes to upholstery, including:

• Fabric fading
• Leather wrinkling
• Stretching
• Changes in colour or texture due to regular use
• Effects of natural oils
• Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance

Accidental Damage

The following are generally excluded from warranty coverage:

• Scratches
• Dents
• Stains
• Spills
• Impact damage
• Breakage caused by accidents
• Damage caused by misuse or negligence

Moisture, Water & Environmental Damage

Warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Water or moisture exposure
• Water seepage
• Excessive humidity
• Fungus, mildew, or mould
• Direct or prolonged sunlight exposure
• Environmental conditions
• Improper storage
• Inadequate maintenance

Floor & Dimensional Variations

Minor variations arising from flooring or surface conditions are not considered manufacturing defects.

In accordance with normal furniture manufacturing tolerances, minor dimensional variations may occur, and products may have slight unevenness or gaps due to floor and surface-level differences.

Glass, Mirrors & Post-Delivery Damage

Damage identified after the product has been properly delivered and acknowledged may not be covered under warranty, including:

• Broken glass or mirrors
• Torn stitching
• Scratches or marks
• Physical damage caused after delivery

Customers are advised to carefully inspect the product at the time of delivery and report any visible damage or missing components immediately.

Borer / Pest Damage

Creatures Studio’s solid wood products may undergo appropriate treatment to help protect against borer infestation.

However, regular care and maintenance are required to protect wooden furniture.

Borer infestation will be covered under warranty only where specifically mentioned in the product warranty terms and for the period specified therein.

Cushion & Foam Sagging

Minor sagging, compression, or softening of cushions and foam seating due to regular use is considered normal wear and tear and may not be covered under warranty.

Unauthorised Assembly

For products requiring professional assembly, the warranty may become void if the customer assembles, dismantles, modifies, or repairs the product independently or through an unauthorised third party.

Creatures Studio reserves the right to approve, reject, or limit warranty service where, based on inspection or evaluation, the issue is determined to have resulted from misuse, negligence, improper maintenance, unauthorised modification, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, environmental conditions, or failure to follow the User Manual, Care Instructions, or Product Guidelines provided with the product.

All warranty claims are subject to the specific warranty terms applicable to the product and brand purchased. In case of any conflict, the warranty terms mentioned on the respective product page or warranty document shall prevail.
